I bought a transparent sealant that is white when it comes out of the cartridge/tube. Why is this?
Some types of sealant contain moisture. These sealants do not become transparent until they have completely dried out and all the moisture has escaped. Please note that if the sealant is applied between non-porous materials and/or on cold, damp areas, it may take a few weeks for the sealant to dry out completely.
