The all-in-one sealant
UHU POLY MAX Sealant is a high-quality, elastic, and paintable all-in-one sealant that combines the benefits of acrylic and silicone. It is ideal for waterproof sealing in wet areas, kitchens, and for flexible joints in walls or ceilings. The sealant adheres to many materials, even on damp surfaces, and fills cracks and holes without shrinking. It cures quickly and becomes waterproof after 2 hours.
Easy to use, ideal for both DIY enthusiasts and professionals. Not suitable for aquariums or standing water for extended periods.

Our POLY MAX® Sealant in Action
The UHU POLY MAX Sealant is the perfect all-rounder for sealing joints and filling cracks in wet areas, kitchens, and construction applications. It is ideal for waterproof sealing in showers, bathtubs, sinks, and between countertops or sinks. With excellent adhesion to tiles, wood, metal, plastic, and many other materials, it ensures reliable, shrink-free results – both indoors and outdoors.
Application of POLY MAX Sealants
STEP 1: CUT THE CARTRIDGE TIP
Before use, cut the plastic tip of the cartridge above the thread using a sharp knife.
STEP 2: ATTACH THE NOZZLE
Attach the nozzle to the cartridge.
STEP 3: CUT THE NOZZLE TIP
Cut the nozzle at an angle, with a diameter of at least 0.5 cm.
STEP 4: INSERT AND SECURE IN CAULKING GUN
Place the opened cartridge into the caulking gun. The adhesive is now ready for use. Discard the first 5 cm of sealant that is dispensed.
STEP 5: APPLY THE SEALANT
Apply the sealant to the joint and smooth it within 10-15 minutes using a wet finger or a special joint tool. The curing process is quick—after about 15 minutes, a skin will form on the surface. After application, seal the cartridge again with the screw cap.
