I did it by myself! Lots of fun ideas for handycrafting with children of all ages: step-by-step plans for a variety of occasions and seasons with valuable glueing tips, so nothing can go wrong!
Material and resources
- Paper (various colours)
- UHU stic
- Wool, googley eyes etc.
Tip: You can of course also glue horns and hair onto your monster, in such a way that they will later stick out the side of the book allowing you to find your page more quickly. You can attach these securely using UHU Patafix white.
First fold the paper once in the middle, then unfold it again and fold once more in the other direction, to create four equally sized squares.
Now cut one of the folded rectangles out. If using paper that is printed on one side, the small, cut-out square will be required later.
Cut the corner off at the opposite end.
If using paper that is printed on one side, the separate square from Step 2 now comes into play. The square is glued onto the white surface of the bookmark with the coloured side up.
You can now creatively design your monster to your heart's content, by gluing on eyes and teeth made of white paper.
